Marshmallow Dream Maids Anniversary Event

Hey sweeties, Last weekend was a busy one for me my goodness! Now it is all over I turn my attention to Christmas stuff that has been neglected. So it was the Marshmallow Dreams Maid cafe 1st Anniversary there and this time it was held in a little cafe called Cake and Cushion in Glasgow.
Where we had 2 time slots for our customers to celebrate with us in super Kawaii Christmas style!
Last time the maids hosted an event in a cafe style I could not attend so this time I made sure to bring as much equipment as I could for the event (which makes me stress out as am carrying expensive stuff and I worry..)

This time I matched in with the other maids in a maid outfit, Only because I felt out of place last time being in casual and surrounded by so many cuties heh. So here are the results of our event, Cake, Smiles, Festive cheer and of course lots of KAWAII!

Enjoy the photos!

The event was a success and a great way to end the year with such a hard working team of adorable maids!, here is to many more events for the coming year and keep a eye on the facebook page for more photos and updates for next year!
(video coming soon!)

I am loving the new Kawaii Winter range full of warm cosy looking hoodies ! Not only will you stay super warm you will look super Kawaii at the same time! You can find so many cute outfits here!

In at number 3 and a personal fave shop of mine will be the lovely and cute Frilly Pops who can be found on Esty. The owner is the queen of pom poms and puts my own home made ones to pom pom shame. You can get the most adorable pom pom earring and even garlands to make any Kawaii lover fall in love with such a cute gift! From wearing them to displaying them in your very own kawaii space! These will be a hit for those who like to stand out from the crowd and are super quirky earrings to wear~ I must have at least 5 pairs of these adorable earrings!

How to make a Kawaii Christmas

AH I love Christmas, I love the whole setting it up and decorations!
I often take some down time to get ready as most of you know that I also have a sweet Christmas star's birthday on the same day. Yup Chibi Bean will be a whole 4 years old on Christmas day! Kyaaa!!! She is already excited with seeing me getting it all ready.
Before Chibi came along I did not really do much at Christmas at all, I even tried to work it if I could so I didn't have to do the whole Christmas thing, I lost interest in it. But of course that has all changed since Chibi bean came along! I put all my energy into it every year now!
This is the 4th year of my some what famous Hello Kitty tree but am not giving out details of it all just yet!
Instead this post is showing off my DIY Kawaii ideas and other Ideas to make things Kawaii!
Wanting to give a kawaii make over to your Christmas is pretty easy, you just have to think...well think Kawaii!
Recycling old Christmas decorations is a cheap option and you can make them as good as a new item in the shop!Changing the colour theme to whites and pastels or mixing soft colours is also a great idea!

I took this old mini white tree and a mini pink wreath I had that I wanted to recycle so I took the pick like branches off the wreath and attached them with strong glue to the thin and some what looking sorry for its self tree. I was very happy with my new pink and white tree that not only looks Kawaii but much fuller too!

But what happened to the wreath's base? Well I wanted to add more colour to my Kawaii Christmas theme and happened to be making Pom poms and created a new Pom pom  wreath along side a new Pom pom Garland to hang up! And I even used sparkly wool and added extra glitter for fun.I can not wait to hang it up on the wall! Pom poms really can make something look super cute!

I also made with Pom Poms cute Candle bases ( mind you might not be very particle with wool and a open flame.)Which some of you might see at the next up coming Maid cafe as well as the garlands too! Also keep a eye out for my new Pom pom hair band I made thats pastel and Kawaii with Glittery like snow !

Check out this cute Kawaii Christmas Bauble!

As well as having fun with pinks whites pom poms and glitter I also have been having lots of fun with Christmas Baubles, which I wanted to make more of but never mind I have next year to make more right?
I wanted to make my own ones and it was really easy to make these! Getting hold of material was also easy to do , well I did get my baubles a bit to big for the kawaii things I wanted to add to them - whoops!- But then I found something to go in them and found smaller baubles to use.
I have made a DIY kawaii video to share with you all here on my youtube Channel!!!

Aswell you can follow the easy steps shown below in photos too cause they were so much fun I pick Kawaii Characters I love lots of Hello Kitty and my fave kawaii bear Rilakkuma and his friends too! Not only that they each live in their own wonderland of snow!

You will need!
Clear Plastic Christmas Baubles that can come apart.
Craft Glue
Small Toys or Kawaii Characters to fit inside the Bauble.
Glitter Snow of your choice.
And some Rhinestones to decorate.

Split the bauble and attach your rhinestones both in the inner side and outer side. Make sure you leave space between the rhinestones. I used tweezers to pick them up and place them in the Bauble!

Using Craft Glue or Strong glue to  place your Kawaii item inside and leave to dry!
Mine too 5mins or so. Then you want to add in the Snow, I added mine to the other half of the bauble to make it easier, not to much you don't want to lose your Character in all the snow!

Then using glue to seal the outer edges but both sides together and then add some string .
And there you have it Kawaii Characters in Christmas baubles! Just like that Easy!!!
Of course you can make em any size you want or any theme you want! I can not wait to see any you make and how they will look on your Kawaii Christmas Tree's!
I am looking forward to having these on my tree so much! Way to cute.

Not only making you own stuff will be fun but also it will be unique to you and your Christmas!
Keep a eye of my final Kawaii Christmas post coming real soon.
Till Later.

Cute Japanese Fashion Winter Review

Hey everyone today's post is a sponsored review by Japanese Cute Fashion.
Here is the link for all your cute Japanese fashion needs here you can also find them on facebook too.
Kyaa~ any one notice the change in the air we are already half way through November and its the season to keep cosy cute and warm.
Is it cold where you are? It has been wet and slightly mild here but to be offered to select some items to review I had to pick some cosy looking knitwear , one of my top kawaii tips for winter for staying Kawaii and Warm.

I picked 2 items from the knitwear section from the shop which has many other sections to browse. I chose a jumper and a cardigan both new items in store. The 1st item is a fuffly style cardigan, I am a creature of habit and still love black but try not to buy it cause it can be kawaii too. What I liked about this , is that it looks so warm and cosy! I also liked the cute skulls and cross bone details. This eyelash style wool seems to be rather popular in the high street shops.

The 2nd item is a jumper in a white shade that I picked. I loved this for its Kawaii sweet over all look again with a similar looking eyelash wool this one is covered in lipstick lips all over it - which is so cute!
And very fitting cause I love my lipsticks.

My Parcel was all wrapped up well and neatly for the post!
I had to collect it as the postie came when I was out on the school run, Thanks to that it meant I had to wait  from Tuesday which was the day it came. Till the following day to collect it! Item was shipped the Monday!

What I think of the items~
The cardigan I love it! It fits well (8-12 UK size) I wore it for photos and it kept me soo warm I had to take it off for a bit! The only snag is there is no way to close it, so its a open style cardigan .The colours are the same as the stock photos and the skulls are way to cute! You could create many cute pastel gothic looks with this item as well as soft grunge looks.  There was no lose eyelash fibres either and none that I could see come off on my top underneath it when I took it off. I really like this cardi lots and it comes in a nice price on the website. I rate this this a 9/10 it would of got full marks if it had buttons or a zipper but that's a personal thing ( just being a fussy lol)

The other item was the Lippy Jumper as I call it lol! Again its the same as the stock image, it said it was a size UK 6-10, It did look small but I would say the sizes are spot on. Like the Cardi the martial is stretchy-ish. Is that a word?! I LOVE this Jumper its mega cute and sassy. The lip sticks marks are so cute haha. I also like how the base colour is pink and the fluffy eyelash wool is white giving it a nice cream colour.
I rate this one FULL marks 10/10! Would I recommend this online store? YES!
This order has been great and stylish for winter cosy items

Here are my worn photos!

Hope enjoyed my review!

Lime Crime-Kawaii make up review

Ah finally, getting round to a new review blog post yay!

So this posts review is about my latest purchase of products by Lime Crime. A product that is made in the USA and known for its bright colourful shades and tones. I have come across Lime Crime in the past and always liked the look of the brightly  products but never really got around to purchasing them -manly because I didn't know if I could in the UK or not. However in the end I did realise I could get the products on ebay and a few UK online make up shops or just ordering from Lime Crime in the USA its self. So far I have tried all these methods and not had any issues with shipping or such. So I know if I can not get it on one of these ways I can with a other.- great stuff.
So what did I get?!
The 1st product I ordered was one of the Velvetines, I picked the pink one as the red one was out of stock everywhere or I had to play way over the odds for one! But I like pink and wanted to try it- I heard a lot about this product about how amazing it is and how bright and colourful the shades are.
I also heard and read many reviews on how long lasting the product were when on the lips which really took my interest. Also the Velvetines are a Gloss product that dry into a matt once on.
I was super over the moon when I item came and I fell in love with the product packaging and the product itself. I knew from that point I had to get myself some more of the Velvetines. I now have the following , Pink Velvet, Utopia and Red Velvet. And I love them all.

Why do I like these? I love the long lasting colour, I barely have to touch up my lip make up as its like the stuff is bullet proof , Kiss proof and compared to other bright colours there was barely a trace of any left lip mark on my mugs of tea or on toast! I love the colours and the fact its a matt finish. I also noted they had a nice scent to them as well.I did find it was hard to get them perfectly lined with the brush that they come with so I use a lip brush to outline my lips when I use these. I am not personally keen on shiny gloss looks on my lips so these are perfect for me!Moving on to the other products I ordered 3 Unicorn lipsticks in the end, I really wanted to try them to see how they matched up to the Velventines.

The colours I ordered were, Airborne unicorn which is a purple - Lavender shade. Centrifuschia  which is a fushica like pink shade. The other one being Pink Planet which is more of a baby pink pastel shade.Pinks and reds are more my sort of colours but I found the ones I have got in the past have not being bold in colours even in a pastel shade so I wanted to test these out to see if I get the shades I wanted on my lips. The 1st time I tried them I fell in love with Centrifuschia I love the colour and it applied well, don't need to much colour might I add to get this shade in its full glory. As for the others well its a bit of a love hate feeling with Airborne unicorn, I personally love the look of it but am not sure if I really suit it, I feel its a bit weird in tone on my lips I did find if I apply it very lightly I get a better tone but its a hard one to use, -just my thoughts there or I am not applying it right! haha! Again seems to be the same with the pink planet all the pastel shades maybe? But again applying them lightly seems to work well .All of the lipsticks are all scented in a lovely vanilla smell. Over all I do like these but have to really apply with care and thought.

The last item I got was a eye liner in reason a slivery glittery shade its a lovely eyeliner and glides on with ease when used. Its not very noticeable but then I have not really used it for a over all look yet. I would love to try 2 other shades one being blue milk and a purple shade one. I will be trying out the new Venus Palette full of really nice shades of eye-shadows that took my interest- I hunted high and low for other brands offering same kinds of shades but nothing has turned up close so I went ahead to treat myself to this so am rather excited.

Over all what do I think of the products? I think you get a lovely kawaii looking product that gives lovely shades and a variety of bright bold and pastel shades, they might not be for every one. I guess I might buy some other shades in the Velventines as they are my fave so far. I do find they are quite pricey but not as crazy as high end priced brands. I would like to see new shades and variety. I would recommend the Velventines over the lipsticks personally. I do however love my purchased products so far!

What do you think of these products- should I do a video review on these? Do any of you want to see these on me then check out my Instagram here !!
